Stroller Strong Classes

Welcome to Fitmama Strong Ottawa! We’re offering two outdoor Stroller Strong classes beginning in September:
STROLLER STRONG: Tuesdays @ 10:15 am at Brewer Park
STROLLER STRONG: Thursdays @ 10:15 am at Hog’s Back Park
Please Note: When you purchase your class pass, it will be exclusive to the TIME and DAY of the program you registered for.
We want to encourage all of our members to stay active more than once a week, so we’re including the following with your class pass:
BONUS:
Access to our Virtual Studio for Live, Online Classes. We highly encourage our members to commit to 2-3 workouts/week to help reduce the risk of injury, build stamina and make your in-person experience feel easier! Chose from Express FLOW (Yoga), Express STRONG (Strength building) or Express ELEVATE (higher intensity) classes, led by certified pre/postnatal coaches from our Virtual Studio.
Access to our On-Demand Content library. There are over 80 pre-recorded workouts to choose from. Workout in real time with your favourite Fitmama Strong Online Coach 💕
If you're interested in joining us, you'll want to act fast, though! These are popular classes that have consistently sold out in a few short hours since fall 2020!
** If you don’t get a space in one of our classes, we occasionally have cancellations. If you’d like to be added to the cancellation waitlist, please send an email.
Our Babywearing Fitness Classes will return in October 2024.

BREWER PARK TUESDAYS: Purchase this pass and get 6 in-person Stroller classes (Sept 10, 17, 24 and Oct 1, 8 & 15)
Your pass includes full access our live, online classes & on-demand workouts and is valid from August 1 - October 20, which means you have access to all of our online experiences for this time.
TUESDAYS: $149 + HST
STroller STRONG: THURSDAYS
HOG’S BACK PARK THURSDAYS: Purchase this pass and get 6 in-person Stroller classes (Sept 12, 19, 26 and Oct 3, 10 and 17)
Your pass includes full access our live, online classes & on-demand workouts and is valid from August 1 - October 20, which means you have access to all of our online experiences for this time.
Thursdays: $149 + HST
It’s all in the details…
Each Stroller class is led by Sue, a certified personal trainer and pre/postnatal fitness specialist. She has been coaching pregnant and postpartum people for over 14 years and has trained thousands of women across the National Capital Region in person as well as online.
🌳 All Stroller Strong classes are held outdoors. Please consider the weather and dress appropriately. We encourage you to practice sun safety (wear sunscreen, hats and light coloured clothing. Our climate is ever changing and although we will do our best to adapt to the conditions, we cannot control the weather and rarely cancel classes due to weather. We host our classes earlier in the day so that we are less impacted by heat and humidity warnings and we adjust the level of intensity to take these things into consideration. We understand that we have a wide range of members who have different tolerances for various weather conditions and respect any choice that a member makes for their own personal safety and comfort.
‼️ Refunds must be requested prior to September 9th, 2024, as long as you haven’t already attended any of our live, online classes. After that all sales are final. All refunds are subject to a $25 + HST admin fee.
⛈ Classes run Rain or Shine. In the event of a thunder or lightning, a class may be cancelled and rescheduled. On the rare occasion that we need to cancel a classs, it will be done on our Punchpass schedule first and an email will be sent to class members.
☔️ In the event or Rain, we will used the covered area at each of our locations.
💪🏾 Classes are appropriate for all stages of postpartum recovery and athleticism. Younger babies may require a bit more of your attention during classes than older babies and we absolutely encourage you to tend to your babies needs for their comfort and yours. We also suggest that you try to feed your baby prior to class, but we recognize that not all babies follow our clock, so taking a break from your workout to feed your baby is never a problem.
👶🏽 You’re welcome to bring your baby carrier and use it if your baby is not enjoying the stroller.
👟Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor fitness (running shoes/training shoes are a MUST). You will not be able to participate if you do not have the appropriate footwear (no flip-flops/sandals or heeled boots)
🗓 Missed class policy: Unused/Missed classes are at the sole discretion of the participant. Missed classes are non-refundable and we can not accommodate extending the session. Our Live, Online classes and our On Demand Content Library are included in your pass and are a great way to stay active when your schedule changes. We know how unpredictable life can be with a baby/toddler, which is why we include full access to our virtual studio. We are not able to move people in/out of the series they have registered for.
❎ Unfortunately, class passes are not transferrable outside of your immediate family unit.
👶🏽 Sue loves baby cuddles and will gladly hold your baby any time you need, since her kids are no longer babies:)
